When was Crown Colony built?
Crown Colony was originally built as apartments by the Larwin Development Company in 1974, and converted to condos in 1980 by Cadillac Fairview Homes West.
How many units are there total?
There are a total of 920 homes in 27 buildings spread throughout the 23.5 tree-covered acres that comprise Crown Colony. Refer to our "Site Map" in the top menu.
How many types of floor plans are there?
Crown Colony offers a total of 11 different floor plans from studios to three bedroom units. Refer to our "Floor Plans" page for details and sketches on the various floor plans available.
What are the hours of the Club House?
The Club House is open between 9 am and 8 pm Monday through Friday; from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
What are the hours of the Swimming Pools?
•The Main swimming pool, located in the Club House, is open 5 am and 11 pm everyday. This pool is heated all year 'round.
•The Upper pool is open between 7 am and 11 pm every day, and is heated from April through October.
What amenities does the Club House offer?
The Clubhouse, a three story hillside building, sits amid tall trees surrounded by babbling streams. It features extensive recreation facilities. The main level has a large seating area with a fireplace and big-screen TV, a full kitchen, numerous tables and chairs in an eating/meeting area, a library and the Association offices. The upper level has a large work station/lounge area and a billiardroom.
The lower level has fully-equiped men's and women's exercise facilities with suana & showers, the large indoor/outdoor pool, a spa, and ping-pong table.
How many guests can I bring with me to the Club House?
Only four (4) guests per unit are permitted to use the pools, saunas or spas, or to take part in recreational/social activities at any time. Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times.

Are pets allowed in Crown Colony?
According to the Crown Colony Rules & Regs, the only animals permitted to be kept on the property are birds, cats, dogs and fish. No more than two animals may be kept in any one unit. And no animal may be larger than twenty (20) inches high at the shoulder and weigh more than twenty (20) pounds. This rule applies to Owners. If you are a Tenant, your Landlord may decide whether to allow you to have pets or not.
How do I get a copy of the Rules & Regulations?

The HOA dues are based on the size of the particular unit or floorplan. Crown Colony's fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th.

What do my HOA dues cover?
Your HOA dues cover water, garbage, gas, property insurance, common area maintenance, landscaping, and 24-hour security. Owners must obtain their own insurance for personal property, upgrades and liability insurance.
